This Vane Switch is designed to detect a ferrous target (vane) passing through the central slot of the Glass Filled Nylon housing. The housing contains a built-in system of magnets and a fully sealed proximity switch from our ES-4 Series with SPCO / SPDT (Form C) , volt free, hermetically sealed contacts.
It requires the use of a ferro magnetic target such as mild steel to operate.
The standard model is designed to be mounted onto a non-ferrous surface. An special version is also available where mounting onto ferrous material cannot be avoided. This versatile switch provides highly reliable continuous monitoring across a wide operating temperature range.
