This Ferrous Sensing Proximity Switch has a 316 Stainless Steel housing with SPDT, SPCO volt free contacts. Maximum switching current is 4A. These volt free contacts can be used for switching multiple voltages in AC or DC. They are able to sense ferrous material, such as carbon steel, at up to 2.3mm and are reliable through millions of operations. Optional magnetic targets can be used to further increase sensing range.
This switch is provided with Teflon leads allowing for continuous operation up to 204°C (400°F). It is provided with a bolted flange to allow for direct mounting to a hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder for end of stroke monitoring. The probe length is 26mm [1.025″]

The FS-CYL-B Series (1/2″ NPT Conduit Entry) Proximity Switch is highly versatile and can be used in a multitude of applications where a reliable signal is required.
